Although Saint John&#8217;s Day is June 24th, the whole month is a reason to celebrate. Getting together with friends to have fun, dressing up, enjoying delicious food and typical drinks is always a good idea, isn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>To give a more interesting and current touch to your June festival, we chose two traditional June festival items for our recipes:<strong>quent\u00e3o recipes <\/strong>and <strong>pa\u00e7oca recipes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the drink recipes for the June festival that will be a hit at your party.<\/p>\n<h3>Quent\u00e3o Recipes<\/h3>\n<p>Quent\u00e3o is a very popular drink in the Southeast and South of the country. It is typically made from mulled wine, spices and fruit. Our bartenders prepared two mulled recipes with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CfOsYa0uV5Y\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kalvelage Oak Vodka<\/a> that will warm up and liven up your S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Festival.<\/p>\n<h3>Kalvelage Spice Quent\u00e3o Recipe<\/h3>\n<p>Traditional quent\u00e3o is good, but with Kalvelage Oak Vodka it gets even better!<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>750ml Kalvelage Oak Vodka<\/li>\n<li>500 ml mineral water<\/li>\n<li>7 cinnamon sticks (medium size)<\/li>\n<li>1 whole ginger<\/li>\n<li>2 Tahiti lemons cut into thin slices<\/li>\n<li>1 Bahia orange cut into slices<\/li>\n<li>120 gr of demerara sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method of preparation:<\/p>\n<p>In a pan, add the sugar with the ginger (peeled and sliced into fillets) and leave over low heat until it starts to caramelize. Add water and stir to avoid burning the sugar; add the cinnamon and heat until it boils. When it boils, reduce the heat and leave for 5 minutes. Then add the Oak, citrus fruits and keep for another 5 minutes over medium heat.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s ready, cheers!<\/p>\n<h3>Kalvelage Fruit Quent\u00e3o Recipe<\/h3>\n<p>Are you on the team that likes fruit muffins? We have a recipe for a fruit mulled drink with vodka for your June party too.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>100 ml Kalvelage Oak Vodka<\/p>\n<p>600 ml of smooth red wine<\/p>\n<p>80 g demerara sugar<\/p>\n<p>Fruits: apple, orange, cinnamon, clove<\/p>\n<p>Method of preparation: Melt the sugar in a pan over high heat until caramelized and add the fruits and wine. Drink hot.<\/p>\n<h3>Recipes with Pa\u00e7oca<\/h3>\n<p>Pa\u00e7oca is a delicacy that cannot be missed during Festa Junina. Generally, pa\u00e7oca is eaten plain, but the combination of pa\u00e7oca and vodka will win your heart. Check out the <strong>recipes for pa\u00e7oca drinks<\/strong> that our bartenders prepare for the S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Festivities.<\/p>\n<h3>Pa\u00e7oca Vodka recipe for June festival<\/h3>\n<p>Have you ever thought about a shot of pa\u00e7oca? It will definitely liven up your June party! Just prepare in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 ml Kalvelage Vibe Vodka<\/li>\n<li>2 cylindrical pa\u00e7ocas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method of preparation:<\/p>\n<p>Break up the pa\u00e7ocas. Place them in a previously sterilized glass container. Add the vodka. Cover the container, shake well and let it rest for 24 hours at room temperature.<\/p>\n<p>After this period, strain the mixture using a fine sieve or a coffee filter and transfer it to a sterilized glass bottle. Keep the bottle tightly closed and consume within a maximum of 30 days. It is not necessary to store it in the refrigerator. Serve the drink in a shot glass, and set aside a little for the next recipe.<\/p>\n<h3>Pa\u00e7oca Martini Recipe<\/h3>\n<p>To prepare this drink with a festive flavor, you will need a little of the vodka infusion in pa\u00e7oca, the one from the previous recipe.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>30 ml of vodka infusion in pa\u00e7oca<\/li>\n<li>30 ml Kalvelage Vibe Vodka<\/li>\n<li>10 ml sweet vermouth<\/li>\n<li>7.5 ml lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>2 drops of grapefruit bitters (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Sicilian lemon to grease the rim of the glass<\/li>\n<li>Crushed pa\u00e7oca<\/li>\n<li>Ice to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method of preparation:<\/p>\n<p>Add the pa\u00e7oca vodka, Kalvelage Vibe Vodka, vermouth, lemon juice and drops of grapefruit bitters (if you decide to use them) in a cocktail shaker. Fill the remaining space with plenty of ice and shake well. Rub the Sicilian lemon on the rim of the martini glass and then dip the rim of the glass in the crushed pa\u00e7oca. Strain the mixture from the shaker with a fine sieve directly into the martini glass.
